ROSEDALE moved within a win of the North Gippsland netball top five after defeating Sale City 43-36 at home on Saturday.

The Blues are in seventh place, while the Bulldogs are in fifth.

Heyfield and Woodside continue to share the lead, with the Kangaroos ahead on percentage.

The Kangaroos defeated Churchill 39-35 at home. The Cougars are in sixth place, trailing Sale City on percentage.

Woodside was pushed by fourth-placed Cowwarr, winning 44-41.

Glengarry is two wins ahead of the teams in fourth to sixth placings after defeating Traralgon-Tyers United 58-52.

Yarram recorded its second win of the season, defeating win-less Gormandale 53-50.

STRATFORD was too strong at home for Lucknow, winning 65-48 to remain in third place on the East Gippsland ladder.

Top side Lindenow continued its undefeated start to the season with victory over Boisdale-Briagolong, 76-29 at home. The Bombers remain in seventh place.

Fourth-placed Wy Yung won at Orbost 63-49, and Lakes Entrance won at Paynesville 60-29.
