TWO late goals gave Sale United a 4-2 victory at Trafalgar, arresting a three-game losing streak in the Latrobe Valley Soccer League.
On Sunday, the Swans had to fight off a second half comeback from the Victory to win and remain in sixth place on the table.
Kristian Phillips put the visitors ahead in the 38th minute before Tommy Nguyen doubled the advantage six minutes into the second half.
Trafalgar pegged the deficit back two minutes later through Joshua Paredes, who put the Victory back on level terms with a 67th minute goal.
But goals from Nick Buckhoreelall (79th minute) and Antony Wainwright (84th) tilted the game back in Sale’s favour.

Falcons maintained its five-point lead with a 2-0 victory over Churchill United.
Andrew Carbone opened the scoring eight minutes in and Sam Amira closed it out at in the 32nd minute.

TRARALGON City defeated East Gippsland United 5-1 in Bairnsdale.
The Roosters did the damage early with two goals from Corey O’Shea and Jake Budja, before Joshua Perry got one back for the host on 30 minute.
DJ Matar struck twice mid-way through the second half before Iain-Michael Edgar scored in the shadows of full time.
FORTUNA lost at home to Newborough-Yallourn United 3-0.
Mark Fairbrother and Jayden Mathieson scored in the first half before Heyden Tanti made sure of the three points in the 82nd minute.
TRARALGON Olympians was too strong at home for Moe United, winning 5-0.
After Dragan Milesevic scored in the 15th minute, Scott Henri, Anthony Pardo, Brandon Scott and Chris Panayiotou netted for the home side in the second half.
SALE United has the chance to win back-to-back games this Sunday, when it hosts bottom side Tyers.
The match of the round will be in Morwell, where Falcons will host Monash in a top of the table clash.
