AFTER a thumping from top of the table Lindenow last week, Boisdale-Briagolong will host second-placed Orbost-Snowy Rovers in East Gippsland football on Saturday.

The Bombers will have to work hard, though Orbost only narrowly won against Wy Yung at home last week.

Stratford will head to Lakes Entrance for what should be a close game.

The Seagulls’ form is patchy at home this season, with a loss to Orbost-Snowy Rovers in round four and just a five-point win over Wy Yung in round two. The team would need an exceptionally strong win to push its percentage up and break into the top four.

Stratford, coming off a nine-point win against Lucknow last week, will be confident.

Lindenow will host Lucknow, which faces dropping to fourth on the ladder unless it can pull off an unlikely win, while the win-less Paynesville heads to Wy Yung.
