Alleged assaults in Dargo

A 22-YEAR-old Queensland woman is facing charges including affray, threatening to kill and assault with a weapon following an incident at the Dargo River Inn on Friday, June 9, just before midnight.

It is alleged the woman was involved in a fight outside the hotel then returned a short time later producing a knife.

She was arrested in Dargo in the early hours of Saturday, and has been bailed to appear in court in September.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to phone Maffra police on 5147 1026, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In a separate incident, police are appealing for witnesses after two men were allegedly assaulted at the Dargo Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning, June 11.

Both men received minor injuries, however police would like to speak to any person who may have witnessed the assaults.
