SEVEN Sri Lankan nationals were lucky to escape uninjured on Saturday after a fire destroyed a Wurruk house.

Nine CFA trucks attended the Bennison Drive fire, which started just before 11pm.

The occupants escaped without injury, and were provided with emergency housing by Red Cross.

Police have placed a crime scene hold on the property, as they await arson chemists to assess the scene.
