Bike and utility collide on the Princes Highway

A MOTORCYCLIST was injured after colliding with a utility on the Princes Highway on Saturday night.

Police were called to the incident near Montgomery about 9pm, and are still investigating the cause of the collision.

A Wellington Highway Patrol spokesperson said the centreline barriers outside Sale were not the cause of the collision.

“They had nothing to do with it whatsoever,” he reiterated.

Police seek owners of items stolen from boats

POLICE are looking for the owners of items stolen from boats docked at the Port of Sale.

Two males were arrested on June 22 last year, and were caught with the items.

People who have noticed missing items from their boats should phone Senior Constable Palling at Sale police station on 5142 2200 to reclaim them.
