STRATFORD will take the fight to Orbost-Snowy Rovers during round two of East Gippsland football.
Coming off a close win over Boisdale-Briagolong, the Swans have a good chance of making it two from two on Saturday at Orbost.
The Blues lost to a resurgent Paynesville by 22 points in round one.
Stratford will also be looking for revenge after the Blues knocked it out in the semi-finals last year.
Lucknow put in a dismal performance against Wy Yung last week, and Boisdale-Briagolong, looking fierce and competitive, will be keen to capitalise.
The Bombers were able to stay in touch with Stratford right to the end of the match, and their hard-tackling style may overwhelm Lucknow.
The most interesting match of the round will be Lindenow, having lost its first match since July last season, up against Paynesville, which only won a single match last year but thumped Orbost last week.
There is a chance for the Gulls to become giant-killers.
Wy Yung will take on Lakes Entrance at home.
Both teams recorded strong wins over last year’s grand finalists, and a win this early in the season could prove crucial to locking in finals positions.
