ALL across Australia, mothers, daughters, friends and supporters pounded the pavement in pink on Sunday, running, walking or strolling in the Mother’s Day Classic.

The annual fun run and walk brings people together to support, celebrate and remember those affected by breast cancer, as well as raise money for breast cancer research.

In Sale, local charity Footprints Foundation hosted the event around Lake Guthridge, as more than 360 participants dressed in a touch (or a punch) of pink to celebrate, support and remember those affected by breast cancer.

Footprints Foundation offers free services to support local women undergoing breast cancer treatment and their families.

The foundation makes a difference by offering support and providing help during difficult times.
