COWWARR moved into fifth place on the North Gippsland netball ladder with a thrilling 43-42 victory over Sale City at Stephenson Park on Saturday.

The Bulldogs relinquished their place in the top five with the loss.

Rosedale remain two wins on top of the ladder following its 42-25 win at Heyfield.

The Kangaroos fell to eighth place on thh ladder, trailing on percentage Woodside, which lost at home to second-placed Churchill 37-26.

Yarram defeated Glengarry 58-38 and Traralgon-Tyers United defeated Gormandale 47-40.

BOISDALE-Briagolong lost at home to Lindenow 53-27 during the fifth round of East Gippsland netball.

The Bombers remain in seventh place on the ladder with one win, while the Cats are in fourth.

Stratford lost at Lucknow 57-33. The Swans are in sixth place, ahead of Boisdale-Briagolong on percentage, while the Magpies are thid.

Ladder leader Wy Yung defeated Orbost-Snowy Rovers 49-36, and second-placed Lakes Entrance had a 57-33 victory over bottom side Paynesville.
