BOISDALE-Briagolong pulled off its second steamroll victory on Sunday, in round three of the AFL Gippsland Women’s League.
After an 88-point win against Morwell East in round one and missing out on a game last week because of a Warragul Industrials forfeit, the Bombers seemed hungry for the ball, and ruthlessly led the entire game to take the win against Bairnsdale 13.10 (88) to 1.5 (11).
The Redlegs spent a lot of time and effort chasing balls in the wrong half of the ground in its first game of the season, with coach Brodie Harris managing Bairnsdale’s only goal.
Boisdale-Briagolong’s best-on-grounds went to Emily Porter (who kicked two goals), Kiana Minchin, Jemma Dorward and Merryn Griffiths.
Nicky Reeves also kicked four goals, Belinda Marshall three and Lashay Tricker two.
The Bombers will play at Nyora this weekend.
