Arrest over Mount Baw Baw assault and theft

BAW Baw Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 27-year-old man following an alleged assault and ski-doo theft at Mount Baw Baw on Tuesday.

The Tootgarook man was arrested on Thursday and charged with six offences including affray, threats to inflict serious injury and other assault-related offences. He was bailed to appear at Horsham Magistrates' Court on September 24.

The charges relate to the alleged assault of five staff members at a business in Mount Baw Baw Village about 7.30pm.

The investigation into the identity of the remaining two men remains ongoing.
