BLUE skies greeted crowds at Sale’s St Mary’s Primary School Twilight Carnivale on Friday.

The event welcomed the whole community for an annual hit of great food and affordable family friendly entertainment.

Local musicians from Catholic College Sale and Gippsland Grammar performed from a truck, while food vans, homemade curries and desserts satisfied hunger.

Amusements thrilled children of all ages along with a petting zoo, Sale Fire Brigade fire tanker and a display vehicle.

Event organiser Kurt Best said the event continued to deliver on all levels.

“It is our major fundraiser for the year and is very successful in that department,” he said.

“But it is the joy and excitement shared by our students and the wider community that makes it all the more worthwhile.

“Demonstrating to our kids what can be achieved by bringing the community together is invaluable.”
