A 23-YEAR-old woman was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, after the four-wheel drive the was a passenger in rolled five times near Glenfalloch in the High Country on Monday.
The Cranbourne woman and a 24-year-old male driver were attempting to ascend a steep track when the car lost traction and rolled, crushing the vehicle’s cabin.
The four-wheel-drive came to rest against a tree, which prevented a much more serious crash.
In Carrajung Lower, a six-year-old Leongatha boy holidaying with family was also airlifted to hospital, after the PW50 he was riding collided with a stationary car, resulting in severe injuries to the boy’s legs.
Police warn people to supervise children around vehicles.
