Police are looking for two women who allegedly stole money from a Stratford op shop.

POLICE are searching for two women who allegedly stole $370 from a Stratford opportunity shop on Tuesday.

About 1pm, the two women entered Trinity Treasures Op Shop.

Police said one distracted other patrons in the shop, while the other leaned over the counter and rifled through the till, before exiting together.

The two women were last seen heading north along Tyers St.

One woman was wearing a white, oversized golfing visor, while the other was wearing a dark, floral hat with a wide brim.

The women are believed to be aged between 40 and 50, and are of Asian background.

Police have released a CCTV image of the women entering the shop.
