Tight at the top

ONLY percentage separates the top three teams on the East Gippsland netball ladder.

Orbost-Snowy Rovers remains on top despite a 55-46 loss at Stratford on Saturday.

Now in third place, the Swans joined the Blues and Lakes Entrance on eight wins for the season.

Lakes Entrance defeated Boisdale-Briagolong 63-43 at home.

Wy Yung, which defeated Paynesville 71-24, is only two points behind the top three sides.

The Tigers moved into the top four at the expense of Lindenow, which lost to Lucknow 38-32.

YARRAM moved into the North Gippsland netball top five with a 43-40 victory at Cowwarr.

The Demons moved ahead of Churchill on percentage. The Cougars lost at Heyfield 36-31, with the Kangaroos a win outside the top five, level with Cowwarr.

Ladder leader Rosedale defeated Sale City 47-40. The Bulldogs remain in third spot, only on percentage ahead of Glengarry, which defeated Gormandale 66-48.

Second-placed Woodside is now two wins ahead of Sale City and Glengarry, following its 68-46 victory over Traralgon-Tyers United.
