Students from Araluen and Cobains primary schools will join 3000 students from around the state to perform in this year’s State School Spectacular “It’s all about love”.
High energy dance routines, show-stopping vocals, electrifying special effects and dazzling costumes will transform Hisense Arena into one of the biggest song and dance extravaganzas the state has seen.
Araluen and Cobains students will form part of the chorus for the show and have been rehearsing together for months, practising at school and attending rehearsals in Melbourne.
Music teacher and organiser, Ros Detering, rehearses with the students every Friday after school, assisted and supported by parents and staff from both schools.
“I am passionate about music and believe that being part of this amazing show is a great opportunity for our students who also have a passion for music and love performing”, Ms Detering said.
Tickets are available for the 11am and 5pm shows on September 8 from Ticketek.
