Past and current presidents of Maffra Lions Club met with Central Gippsland Health Service’s diabetes nurse educator Sue Kewming and a group of local diabetes sufferers for lunch, paid for by Diabetes Australia Victoria, in Stratford. THREE years ago Sale’s Annemarie White was diagnosed as having type one diabetes, a hereditary condition her mother shared, and a condition which was aggravated by her recent pregnancy.
