SALE’S Christmas parade will be held on Saturday.
Longford Lions Club president Laurel Austin said the club members were banding together to make this year’s parade a memorable event.
“Unlike other years, this parade will finish at Brennan Park, where the floats will be on display,” Ms Austin said.
From 9am at Brennan Park, there will be a variety of market stalls, sausage sizzle, morning tea, ice cream van, jumping castle, zorb balls, horse and wagon rides, and Cruisin’ Cuisine. The Motorcycle Toy Run will arrive at Brennan Park about 12.30pm to present the toys to the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul at 12.40pm.
The Christmas parade itself will leave the St Columba’s kindergarten car park at 9.30am, moving down Raymond St then left into Stawell St, finishing at Brennan Park.
All participating groups are asked to assemble at the St Columba’s car park by 9am.
The town of Sale will line its streets with festive cheer as it celebrates all things Christmas with the annual Sale Christmas Parade.
The RAAF Roulettes will support this event with a formation flypast from 10am.
During the flypast the pilots will fly down to just 200ft above the ground and at speeds up to 550km/h.
