History comes to life

SEASPRAY’S James McLachlan Gates were rededicated on Sunday, with about 100 people in attendance.

Following a brief history of James McLachlan delivered by Sale historian Peter Synan, Mr McLachlan’s grand nephew Frank Stewart cut the ribbon across the gates and revealed the new signage which gives a short history of Mr McLachlan’s achievements as the local member of parliament and champion of the development of Seaspray.

Refreshments were held in the Seaspray Hall following the opening.
