POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a suitcase was stolen from a Traralgon-bound train last week.
Investigators have been told the victim was travelling with a carry on suitcase on an outbound train from Melbourne to Traralgon on Friday, December 14, about 3.30pm.
The thief, believed to be aged in her early 20s, stole the dark purple carry on suitcase with an orange tag which contained a laptop, jewellery and clothing.
She was last seen getting off the train at the Yarragon train station.
The female offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with brown hair, slim build, approximately 165cm tall with a love heart tattoo behind one of her ears.
She was wearing glasses and black and white clothing.
