Tinamba a focus for local food and wine

ORGANISERS of the Tinamba Food and Wine Festival expected more than 2000 people to turn out for the festival on Sunday and they were not disappointed.

People had queued from 10am arriving early for the official 11am opening of the festival and they kept arriving until late afternoon.

Local restaurants and gourmet food producers, the Tinamba Hotel, Rosedale 3847, Duart Homestead, East Gippsland Eats, Victoria Rose Garden, Seaspray Heights, Ploughman’s Pantry and Alloway Olive Oil provided the crowds with a bewildering array of fine foods and produce to enjoy.

Most attending took advantage of the many tables and chairs set out in the street to enjoy a long lunch and sit and listen to the music.
