A FINAL flood warning has been issued for the Mitchell River.
No rainfall has been recorded in the Mitchell River catchment since 9am Monday with no significant rainfall forecast for the remainder of Tuesday.
The Wonnangatta River at Waterford peaked at 3.42 metres around 4.30pm Sunday (minor flood level 3.5m). No further flooding is expected at this location.
The Mitchell River at Glenaladale peaked at 2.79m around 6am Monday morning (minor flood level 3m). No further flooding is expected at this location.
The Mitchell River at Rosehill peaked around 5.6m on Monday.
The Mitchell River at the Bairnsdale Pumphouse peaked around the minor flood level (4m) late Monday and has since fallen below the minor flood level. No further flooding is expected at this location.
