THE Department of Sustainability and Environment and Parks Victoria have advised that planned burning will be carried out around Giffard West and Loch Sport today.
A 832 hectare fuel reduction burn will take place at Joyces Rd, 4km west of Giffard West, while a 299 hectare fuel reduction burn will take place at Waverly Track, 4.5km south-west of Loch Sport.
Smoke may be visible from Loch Sport, Giffard West and surrounding areas.
