Weekend planned burns

THE Department of Sustainability and Environment and Parks Victoria have advise planned burning will be carried out in the following areas today and over the weekend, weather conditions permitting:

• Tambo River: a 3460 hectare fuel reduction burn, 15 kilometres north-east of Bruthen.

• Paddys Flat Rd: a 405 hectare fuel reduction burn, six kilometres north of Sarsfield.

• Colquhoun: a 692 hectare fuel reduction burn, seven kilometres north-west of Lakes Entrance.

• Gillios Track: a 35 hectare fuel reduction burn, 15 kilometres north of Briagolong.

• Telegraph Rd, Gelliondale: a 240 hectare fuel reduction burn, nine kilometres south-west of Alberton.

• Tellings Track: a 517 hectare fuel reduction burn, six kilometres north of Woodside.

• Masseys Rd: an 863 hectare fuel reduction burn, seven kilometres north of Woodside.

• Pines Track: a 614 hectare fuel reduction burn, north-east of Paradise Beach and 17 kilometres south-west of Loch Sport.

• Pelican Point: a 185 hectare fuel reduction burn, two kilometres north-east of Loch Sport.

• Crest Track East: a 277 hectare ecological burn, five kilometres south-west of Loch Sport.

• Chomleys: a 281 hectare fuel reduction burn, five kilometres north of Coongulla.

• Kellys Track: a 189 hectare fuel reduction burn, four kilometres north of Coongulla.

• O’Sheas Rd: a 166 hectare fuel reduction burn, four kilometres east of Cobbanah.

• Barktown Rd: a 14 hectare fuel reduction burn, five kilometres south-west of Boolarra.
