Road accident at Longford

EMERGENCY workers from the CFA, SES, ambulance and police worked for nearly an hour to extract a man from his car after he rolled it this morning on the Longford-Rosedale Rd.

The man was driving from Rosedale towards Longford shortly after 11am when his car veered across the road and flipped.

Police said the man told them he was swerving to avoid a fox.

The man was trapped in his car and SES volunteers from Rosedale and the Latrobe Valley worked for about 45 minutes to free the man from the wreckage.

Updates to come.
