SALE’S Dancing With Our Stars has once again exceeded expectations.
The charity fundraising event sold out just days after tickets went on sale and the more than 1000 people present for the dance extravaganza were treated to an evening few will forget.
Organisers were thrilled by the generosity of the community, with the dancers raising more than $40,000 by themselves, and the entire event expected to raise more than $80,000.
The funds will be equally divided between the beneficiaries The Five Star Project and Sale Elderly Citizens Village — Ashleigh House.
The evening’s winning dancers were Jodi Willis and Daniel Smolenaars, with Megan Paterson and Wayne Van der Heide second and Nicole Bertrand and Daniel Stubbes third.
