POLICE are investigating the theft of a distinctive electric guitar and amplifier from an Alberton home at the weekend.
The burglary is believed to have taken place between 3pm on Saturday and 12.45am on Sunday morning, where unknown offenders forced their way into the Bank St home through a window.
The guitar, a limited edition Dean “Dimebag” ML and the amp, a Roland 30 watt practice amp, are valued at about $1300.
