POLICE are urging firearm owners to ensure their gun lockers are secure, after five rifles were stolen from a residence last week.
Police stated the home in Leon St, Loch Sport, was targeted by burglars between 9am and 8.10pm last Thursday. Offenders forced their way in via a rear window on the home, and stole the firearms from the gun locker in the home.
Police are appealing for any information about the burglary, and are also reminding firearm owners to ensure their gun lockers are properly secured.
