Rawson bike crash

A MAN suffered life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning following a motorcycle crash north of Rawson.

Police investigators have been told a man in his 20s was riding north on the Thomson Dam access road when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guard rail about 2.30am and was thrown onto the rock wall of the dam.

The Pakenham man was transported by road ambulance to Moe and was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
