Sale police are searching for an anonymous caller who made bomb threats from a public phone box at 9.25am and 10.04am on Friday.
The caller claimed that bombs were inside two local businesses.
The latest threats follow a phone call in July where a caller said an explosive device had been planted at Sale police station.
That call resulted in the station being evacuated.
