Woman bitten by dogs

A SEASPRAY woman was taken to Sale hospital with lacerations to her arms and hands after she was bitten by a pair of dogs Wednesday morning.

The Staffordshire terrier cross dogs had escaped from a nearby property and had attacked the woman’s dogs as she was walking them. Police said she was injured as a result of trying to break up the dog fight.

Police, in conjunction with council rangers, have identified and spoken to the dogs’ owners and will be investigating.

At this stage they don’t expect the dogs will be euthanased.
