FOUR bush walkers were treated for dehydration Wednesday evening, after they became lost on the Avon River walking track at Boisdale.
The group of two women, aged 64 and 56, and two men, aged 64 and 65, became separated when the two females went in search of water.
Later, the men, who also found themselves without food and water, called for assistance. Police managed to locate the women and ambulance crews located the men, treating everyone for dehydration on site.
Police wish to remind people to bring adequate food and water supplies with them when walking or engaging in other outdoor activities, especially in the warmer weather.
