Crash witnesses sought

THREE people were taken to Central Gippsland Health Service on Friday after a 23-year-old Glengarry driver allegedly failed to give way at the intersection of Lansdowne and Macarthur Sts, Sale, just after 4.30pm.

According to police, the man was travelling north along Lansdowne St before his vehicle and a car driven west along Macarthur St by a young Longford couple, collided. Both men were released later that day, while the woman remained for observation.

Police are calling for witnesses to a purple XR6 utility driving erratically in the Sale area between 3pm and 4.30pm Friday, and witnesses to the incident, to phone senior constable Stacey Kronk of Wellington Highway Patrol on 5143 5000.
