A 68-YEAR-old woman missing for four days in the Snowy River National Park was located on Sunday by the Victoria Police Airwing.
Airwing members spotted Lynette Joyce Bond about 11.30am on the banks of Snowy River where she had written the word ‘help’ in the sand.
The 68-year-old was winched to safety and taken to hospital for a check-up but was believed to be well.
The Mornington woman’s four-wheel-drive was located on the Deddick Trail about Saturday.
Located on the vehicle was a note saying that the vehicle had broken down on Wednesday.
Search and Rescue members, local police, the police Airwing, SES volunteers and volunteer bushwalkers took part in the search for the missing woman.
