Traffic patrol nab drugs

TWO Sale men were caught by police from the Wellington Highway Patrol, allegedly in possession of a small amount of cannabis and a controlled weapon, after they attempted to evade a random breath test at Dawson St, Sale on Sunday afternoon.

The men, in their late 30s, were intercepted as they entered the driveway of a property that held no connection to them or their car. The vehicle has been impounded.

The men are to face Sale Magistrates Court, Tuesday, April 30 on drugs and driving offences.
