POLICE are searching for the driver of a white Subaru WRX which ran into a cycle sign at the intersection of Dwyer Court and Morrison St in Maffra on Saturday about 4pm.
The driver reportedly did a hand brake stop at the top of the court, then took off quickly, spinning around into the pole.
Police said the driver stopped momentarily, then drove off.
The vehicle has yellow New South Wales registration plates and police believe there would be some damage to one side of the car.
