HEYFIELD police are investigating the theft of two chainsaws from Seaton on Saturday.
Police said the chainsaws were stolen from an open shed on a property.
Heyfield police are also investigating the theft of a Department of Environment and Primary Industries trailer.
The trailer went missing sometime after summer bushfires in the area in January, possibly from the DEPI office in Heyfield or the Snowy Range Airfield.
Police described it as a four-wheel drive single axle 1.52 metre 2.44m (five foot by eight foot) open trailer.
