A LARGE quantity of power tools police believe were taken from residential properties in the Sale area in the past month were recovered during a Sale house raid last week.
Police allege a loaded shotgun was also found on the premises.
Two people were interviewed following the execution of the search warrant, and will be charged on summons.
A 21-year-old Melbourne woman who was at the property at the time of the raid was arrested and remanded in custody. She faced Latrobe Valley Magistrate’s Court earlier this week on drug and stolen property offences.
Police are searching for the owners of some of the recovered tools.
Anyone who suspects the items may be theirs should phone Leading Sen-Const Richard Chrisp at Sale police station on 5143 5000 to verify their ownership.
