A MINOR flood warning is in place for the Latrobe River.
In the 24 hours to 9am Wednesday, rainfall totals of up to 18mm have been recorded in the Latrobe River catchment with an isolated total of 33mm at Mt Baw Baw.
No significant rainfall has been forecast for the remainder of Wednesday. Rainfall totals of 20mm to 30mm have been forecast for Thursday into Friday.
Minor flooding is expected to develop in the Latrobe River catchment at Rosedale during Thursday.
The Latrobe River at Rosedale is below the minor flood level (4m) and rising.
Southern Rural Water has advised releases from Lake Narracan were steady at 5500 ML/d.
The Latrobe River at Thoms Bridge peaked below the minor flood level (4m) during Wednesday morning. Renewed rises are possible from late Thursday as a result of forecast rainfall.
