Crash near Stratford

A CAR collided with a tree at Sunday Gully near Riley Rd, Stratford, about 11.35am Friday.

Travelling west along the Stratford-Bengworden Rd, the driver lost control of the vehicle on the road shoulder when the bitumen changed to gravel.

The car spun, its rear colliding with a tree.

One of the car’s three passengers was taken to Central Gippsland Health Service, Sale, with minor injuries but wasn’t admitted. No one else was injured.

A 27-year-old woman has been issued with a penalty notice for driving an unregistered vehicle and police are still investigating.
