IN conjunction with Parks Victoria, Wellington Highway Patrol and Heyfield police conducted an exercise in Licola on Friday night.
Focusing on drink and drugged driving, firearms and unregistered vehicle offences, police were also there to ensure people had relevant hunting permits.
No offences were detected.
Police said targeted activities would continue in national parks in coming months.
Driver to front court
DURING booze bus operations in Gormandale at the weekend police from the Wellington Highway Patrol breath tested about 600 drivers and inspected vehicles.
A Yarram man in his 30s was the only person issued with a penalty notice Sunday night, charged with driving while disqualified.
The man will front Sale Magistrates Court in the near future.
