OVERNIGHT Saturday 11 cars in the vicinity of Dawson St and Krista Courrt had their tyres slashed.
According to police, vandals used a sharp object to slash at the tyres, doing so indiscriminately.
Detective Sergeant Ian Marr described the crime as pointless, adding that it would cost victims a lot of money to have their tyres replaced.
Police are calling on witnesses who might have seen groups of children in the vicinity to come forward.
