Two men in hospital following Tamboritha Rd rollover

A 25-YEAR-old Traralgon man was airlifted to Melbourne with serious injuries following a single vehicle rollover at Tamboritha Rd, north of Licola, on Saturday evening.

A 31-year-old Budgeree East man, also in the car, was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital by road ambulance.

Helimed-1 was diverted from a collision in Baw Baw to attend the scene, attending to both men until the road ambulance arrived.

Conducting inquiries at the scene, Maffra police breathalysed the driver of a second vehicle in the same group, who blew a reading of 0.082.

He will be issued with a penalty notice, will have his licence cancelled and be disqualified from driving for six months.

Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash and are continuing their investigations.
