THE Gippsland Swimming Championships will be held at the Lex Glover Regional Aquatics Complex in Sale this weekend.
More than 350 swimmers from seven clubs will compete in the three-day event, which begins on Saturday.
The addition of solar heating, exceptional pool maintenance and new shade structures have each helped position the Lex Glover Complex as the location of the championships for the third year in a row. The recent announcement that Gippsland Swimming will once again host the prestigious state country swimming championships next January has further cemented Sale and the Wellington Shire as the home of swimming in the region.
With Gippsland recently winning the Country Interdistrict crown for the 18th consecutive time, this weekend’s championships are set to provide quality racing.
