STRATFORD will have plenty to play for when it takes on Lakes Entrance in round seven of East Gippsland football.
Victory will keep the Swans in touch with the top four, while a loss will see it slip two games in arrears of the fifth-placed Seagulls.
Stratford has pushed the majority of its opponents this season, but will be keen to claim the scalp of a more fancied opponent soon to show it has what it takes to play finals football in its first season in the East Gippsland league.
The Swans will enter the contest fresh after the bye, while Lakes Entrance will be hoping to bounce back after a disappointing heavy defeat to ladder leader Wy Yung.
IN other EGFNL matches tomorrow, Wy Yung will look to gain some revenge for losing the 2011 grand final when it hosts Lindenow, and Lucknow will look to return to the winners’ list when it travels to take on cellar dweller Orbost-Snowy Rovers. Paynesville has the bye.
