The last of the autumn meetings at Sale will be held on Thursday when the rail will be out eight metres from the 1200m chute to the winning post and out five metres for the remainder.
Local trainers have quite a few first starters nominated for the meeting including Jonski and Humpty Amore from Cliff Murray’s stable, Stylish Opinion for Rebecca Kelly, Mystery Creek, Tycoon Force and Bass Magic for Frankie Stockdale all to be ridden by the in form Danny Nikolic.
Georgealmighty ran an improved race at Bairnsdale recently for Sale trainer Tim Grimble and could go on with it here.
Hovercraft trained by Mick Templeton and to be ridden by James Winks in the same race will be hard to beat in a race with a lot of chances.
Theadmiralreturns raced by a number of local identities has come back better than ever from a spell with a win and a third place to his name. He will be hard to beat in the 0-62 Handicap over 1700 metres.
