AFTER a weekend off, Stratford will be keen to return to the field tomorrow at Lucknow for round nine of East Gippsland football.
The Swans are coming off a draw against reigning premier Lindenow. They led by 26 points during the final term, only for the Cats to fight back to even the contest.
The Cats were able to punish Swans errors late in the game.
With a win and a draw, the Swans have already bettered their records from their previous seasons in the North Gippsland league.
It goes without saying that win would have done the Swans a world of good as far as their finals aspirations are concerned as the draw sees them sit two and half wins outside the top four.
While they would have been disappointed not to take all four points home with them, the result showed how much the Swans have improved in 2012.
Lucknow moved into the top four with an upset victory over Wy Yung.
IN other matches, top two sides Paynesville and Wy Yung, will clash in the match of the round, and Lindenow will host Lakes Entrance. Orbost-Snowy Rovers has the bye.
