GORMANDALE moved back into the North Gippsland netball top five with victory over Woodside.
Sitting in seventh position going into the contest, the Tigers made sure their final aspirations remain on track with a 59-35 victory to elevate them back to fourth position.
Sale City and Heyfield fought out a classic tussle, with little separating the sides throughout the contest. The Kangaroos led by two goals going into the final change, which was enough to hold off a fast storming City, winning 44-43.
Glengarry gave Churchill a fright in the final term, out-scoring the visitor nine goals to six to reel the margin back to three goals at the final whistle.
Competition leader Rosedale had little trouble against Cowwarr, recording a 36-goal victory, while Traralgon-Tyers United maintained its hold on third position with a 28-goal victory over Boisdale-Briagolong.
IN East Gippsland netball, second-placed Stratford lost at home to fourth-placed 39-37.
In other matches, top side Lakes Entrance had a 34-28 win over Lindenow and Wy Yung defeated Paynesville 47-30.
