STRATFORD has the bye for round 18 of East Gippsland football before it finishes the home and away season at home against Lakes Entrance.
The Swans will wear a commemorative jumper in the round 19 contest to honour former legends of the club.
While the Swans’ senior side is out of contention to play finals, their reserves side is well-placed to stake a claim for the premiership, currently top of the table.
Stratford is also top of the table in the under 18s, one game clear of Lakes Entrance, who it will play in the final home and away round.
WHILE the East Gippsland senior top four is set, final positions on the ladder are yet to be determined with the fourth-placed Lucknow just one game behind top of the table Wy Yung.
Wy Yung, who plays Lakes Entrance this week, and Lindenow, pitted against Orbost-Snowy Rovers, won’t want to let an opportunity slip to shore up a top two finish with victory over their lower ranked opponents.
In the match of the round, Lucknow host Paynesville with the outcome of the match set to have a major bearing on which side finishes the home and away season in third position.
