LAKES Entrance missed an opportunity to move a game clear of Stratford on top of the East Gippsland netball ladder after a thrilling 30-29 loss to defending premier Wy Yung.
With Stratford sitting out last round with the bye, the Seagulls remain level with the Swans on points but ahead on percentage. The two teams will meet at Stratford in the final round on Saturday.
In other matches, Orbost-Snowy Rovers defeated Lindenow 34-31 in the battle of the cellar dwellers and Lucknow killed off any chance Paynesville had of making the finals with a 47-37 win.
